Al Bayan - Arabic Curriculum Illustration

About the project:

The Al Bayan project entailed the creation of a comprehensive Arabic curriculum for non-native speakers, focusing on teaching through Quranic words and verses. Our senior artist meticulously crafted the style and illustrations for a curriculum spanning four levels, comprising eight books in total, each containing over 500 illustrations.

The concept for the Al Bayan curriculum cover design was inspired by the historical Ottoman train line, symbolizing the journey of Arabic learning for non-Arabic speakers. Each cover depicts cities along the train route, starting from Istanbul, Turkey, and culminating in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, mirroring the progression of the curriculum levels.
